- The peel solution stays on your skin for a minimum of 6 hours — do NOT wash, touch, or apply anything until then
- After 6 hours: rinse gently with cool water only, pat dry with a clean towel
- Do not apply any skincare, moisturizer, or makeup tonight
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase; sleep on your back if possible
- Morning: gently wash and pat dry. Apply the first Post-Peel Towelette — leave on for 50 minutes. Apply Mineral Protection SPF 30. Light makeup may be worn
- Evening (1 hour before bed): gently wash and pat dry. Apply the second Post-Peel Towelette — leave on overnight
- If experiencing significant tightness or irritation: apply a small amount of the provided Post-Peel Moisturizer 2–3 times. A cool compress (not ice) may be applied for relief
- Apply Post-Peel Moisturizer 2–3 times daily once peeling begins
- Apply Mineral Protection SPF 30 every morning; reapply every 2 hours if outdoors
- Use only a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser
- Do NOT pick, pull, peel, or rub the skin — this is the single most important rule. Premature removal causes scarring and pigment changes
Avoid
- Strenuous exercise and sweating
- Saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, swimming pools
- Direct sun exposure
- Makeup on actively peeling skin
- All active skincare (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C serums)
- Peeling is typically complete; new skin is pink and more sensitive than usual
- Continue daily SPF 30+ — new skin hyperpigments rapidly without protection
- Resume a gentle cleanser and hydrating moisturizer twice daily
- Avoid retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, exfoliants, and active brighteners until day 14
- Resume full skincare routine at 2 weeks unless otherwise advised
- Reintroduce retinoids gradually — 2–3 nights per week at low strength, increase slowly
- Wear SPF 50 daily for at least 3 months post-peel, particularly if treating melasma
- Avoid tanning beds permanently
- Next treatment: no sooner than 4 weeks after full recovery
